Background

Located in Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast QLD, a commercial building project required a dewatering solution.

The dewatering system needed to provide dry building conditions during the construction of 4 wells, 2.5 basements and 4 first storeys.

Objective

The main goal of the dewatering system was to remove the hydrocarbons from the water during the first month of the project.

Provide chemical pre-treatment for solids control and use media filtration for filtering the hydrocarbons.

Solution

PR Water provided a flow and pH proportional dosing system to maintain control of the solids and pH in the water.

Solids removal was achieved with a HB60 Clarifier and monitoring services were provided for the duration of the project.
